We hope you all enjoyed the sunshine over half term and are ready for lots of fun during our final term of this year.
This term our topic is 'We Like to Move it Move it.'
We will base our learning around a lovely book written by Julia Donaldson, called The Girl, the Bear and the Magic Shoes. There will be lots of opportunities to try out different types of sports whilst considering the importance of exercise for keeping our bodies healthy.
As lockdown restrictions are now starting to ease, we have added a weekly walk to our timetable. This is a lovely opportunity to support pupils mental wellbeing through appreciating nature as well as providing a valuable opportunity to practice our road safety skills.
Key Dates and other information
On Wednesday 9th June, Silver class will take part in our fun Kids Day In event, supported by the Rotary Club.
The day will have a rainbow theme, so students are encouraged to wear bright colours as part of our day. We will enjoy a fun virtual story telling session, parachute games, a collaborative art project and a bubble workshop.
We are hoping that the sunshine is now here to stay for our final term, so please ensure your child has a named bottle of sun cream and a sun hat they can wear during outdoor play times.
