Term 2 is a busy and exciting one for Diamond Class. We will spend 5 weeks on our topic and then the last 2 weeks of term on slowly building up to Christmas.
This term our topic is 'Fighting Fit', which will include body changes.
We will be focused on changes that our bodies go through, healthy eating and how to keep our bodies healthy. In science, we will be focused on Animals and Humans. This will include looking at the differences between animals and humans.
Our books for this term are 'Harry Miller's Run' by David Almond and 'A Piece of Cake' by Jill Murphy.
In PHSE, we will be looking at personal hygiene and why it is so important. This was something some of our students have done before, but we know that it is a topic we have to keep revisiting to support our students in developing their own hygiene routines.
We will continue to practice life skills using the Talentino programme with Natalie on a Wednesday morning. Cooking will continue on a Thursday morning as well.
Key Dates and other information

Feel Good Friday will continue at the moment, but will depend on the Covid situation. We will keep you in touch with what is happening in school via text and letters on the website.
This term's Parents' Evening is on Monday November 29th. Please look out for details sent home via your student's diary/bag.
