A big focus during Term 1, is establishing classroom routines and building positive relationships between pupils and staff.  

Our first topic of the year is Space.  We will explore the different characteristics of the planets, sun, moon and stars in a very practical way.  We will also practice lots of key vocabulary and enjoy lots of space related songs and music.  Alongside our theme work, pupils will have plenty of opportunity to work on their individual priority learning goals along with individual programmes suggested by our Physio, OT and Speech and Language therapist.
