Uniform

Due to the frequent contact that we have with the local community and the time students spend experiencing different workplaces having a good standard of uniform is really important.

We encourage all students to come to school every day, suitably dressed and looking smart. This would mean wearing a Post 16 polo shirt, with either a sweatshirt or cardigan on top. On the bottom half smart trouser, which could be jogging bottoms if that is more comfortable for the student.

As far as footwear is concerned students must have closed toed shoes and we do ask that they are smart.

Depending on the requirements of different work experience placements we may ask for different items of uniform, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Students will also need clothes that they can do physical activity in, but we allow students to make sensible choices about what this would look like.

Our uniform is supplied by local uniform supplier, Linela. They are based just outside of Thornbury in Olveston, and they are able to offer a try before you buy service if you are worried about sizing etc. They have supplied our uniform for many years, meaning they are familiar with the needs of our students and they have been able to work with families to make sure that needs are met. Clicking here will take you to their web shop where you can place your uniform order.
