We were very busy getting to know each other in Term 1 and now can't wait for a busy, fun Term 2!
Term 2 Timetable:
Last term, half of our Post 16 students enjoyed practising their chopping skills in the kitchen and produced some very tasty food. It's the turn for the other half to do their Meal Prep this term.
We will continue to challenge ourselves in Boot Camp on a Thursday as part of our 'Healthy Minds, Healthy Me' day. All students are welcome to come to school in their kits and be ready for action and then change into uniform or general sporty wear for the day. Alternatively, they can come into school in their uniform and change. We actively encourage all students to wear deodorant. All students can bring their own in (roll on or spray) for a 'top up' after we have worked out.
Key dates and information:
We are looking forward to meeting prospective students and their parents at our Open Evening on Tuesday 2nd November. This is by appointment only. Some of our current students will be busy at work showing Post 16 in action!
All Post 16 students will be preparing for our school's Remembrance Day on Thursday 11th November. We will be organising and putting up displays on both sites as well as leading the secondary classes in a service held in our Memorial garden. This will be Zoomed for those pupils who may want to watch from a distance.
Children in Need Day on Friday 19th November will see us dressed up and helping to raise money. We will be making a 'Work out video' for our New Siblands friends to bop along to.
We can't wait to get started with auditioning and rehearsing for this year's Post 16 PANTO! Oh yes we are!! This will be filmed and available to watch on our school YouTube channel.
