This term our Theme is Once Upon a Time. We will be exploring traditional tales our focus text for the term is Jack and the Beanstalk. Term 2 is a busy term as we will also be celebrating Remembrance Day, Firework Night, Diwali and Christmas

Supporting Learning at Home
English
This term our text is Jack and the Beanstalk. You may like to share the story together at home. There are some Jack and the Beanstalk Makaton signs at the bottom of the page.
Maths
This term we are practising counting with actions. Join in at home.
In Number we will be learning about counting, addition and counting in multiples of two.
In Shape, Space & Measure we will be learning about big and small and using standard and non-standard units of measure.
Key Information
PE
We have PE on Tuesday. Please make sure your child has a clearly marked PE kit in school.
Swimming
We have swimming on Monday. We will keep swim kits in school and wash them weekly.
Outdoor Learning
The weather is now getting wetter the outdoor learning area is getting muddy. We have wet weather gear in school to protect school uniform. Please send in a pair of clearly named Wellington boots for your child which can be kept in school.
