Around the School
New Siblands School caters for learners aged 2 – 19 who have severe learning disabilities (SLD) or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). In addition, learners may have autistic spectrum conditions, hearing / visual impairments or physical disabilities.
We are housed on two sites in purpose built buildings. Our facilities include:
- A building shared with a mainstream primary: Gillingstool Primary School
- Spacious classrooms, with a separate small workroom. Each classroom has ceiling hoists.
- Wide corridors, lifts and secure doors
- Outdoor learning areas
- Sensory studios
- Secure play areas
- Sensory diet area
- Swimming/Hydrotherapy pool
- Life skills room
Classes at New Siblands are small and may contain pupils with a wide range of learning needs. We have a highly skilled staff team who are committed to meeting the needs of each learner. We strive to support pupils to be part of a vibrant and stimulating environment.
